    NFS: Underground

    Lan play? Is there no LAN option for this game? I see there is an option to play on the net, but usually I like to play just over a lan. Talk about annoying! And I'm unable to download the patch, their java script doesn't seem to work with IE or MozillaFirebird.

          According to the FAQS , NO support for LAN or music importing
          What were they thinking? Also, having to go through their system for online multiplayer is a total joke.......

              This is what we get when gaming companies force us to buy console games on PC.

              When will they realize that console and PC are two different markets? Or are they just lazy when they develop games? At least when EA released their latest F1 game they made two completely different versions on PC and consoles.

                          EA are getting on my nerves lately. No customization for controls in Fifa2K4 and now this. I might just not buy Underground now. Definitely not buying Fifa2k4

                              Well, they did do a great job with NfS:Underground, except for the missing LAN play that is ^_^ (who cares about importing music, most of the included music is great)

                                  Apparently our music tastes differ drastically... But most of the time I don't like the music on when I'm racing anyhow, I'd rather hear the purr of the engine. My only other complaint about the game is that there is NO dashboard view. What's this world coming too.... Hot Pursuit 2 sucked too. Bastards. No LAN Play? I'm still miffed at that one. Still the greatest two racing games I've played to date are CMR2 and Pro Race Driver (TOCA)

                                      IMO the best racing game right now is the TPTCC-mod for NASCAR Racing 2003 Season.

                                      TOCA Race Driver was the most disappointing game this year for me. I had hoped it should have been as good as TOCA2, but it didn't even come close.

                                                          By hacking main exe file (speed.exe) to replace some resolution (1280x1024 for example by 2400x600) and fixing some aspect ratio constants.
                                                          (I've got lots of games working in SG with some hacking like this )
