Anybody know how to configure the server for Team Deathmatch?

Never mind. I found what I was looking for.
I also found this little tid bit:
"...as of a recent Half Life 2 update released via Steam, the disc check has been removed - you no longer need to keep your CD/DVD in the drive to launch and play Half Life 2"

I'll be changing host next week. This private server thing sucks. Nobody is ever on when I want to play. In fact, is anybody ever on? Maybe this is a waste of $$$.

If a reserved slot mod ever gets working in linux, it will be implemented.

To be honest, as much as I liked HL2 SP, so far, MP is nothing special.
I've tried playing it several times, and just not been impressed.
It's either the same old run, shoot, run, shoot....or it's a bunch of twits running around chucking stuff at each other with the grav gun.

WHERE IS TF2???
That's what I'm impatiently waiting for.

and you have a problem with that ?

You can also catch thrown stuff with the gravity gun, also grenades are fun to catch and throw...

And you can also catch the plasma ball grenade thingy from the combine rifle...tricky to do but you can suprise the heck out of people if you ever pull it off.
