    Ps3 $550 Cad

    You know, it's getting kind of tempting. The cheapest BluRay player you can get here is $600.

    Anyone know how the video/sound is compared to any of the BluRay players?

      I haven't heard anything bad about the BR playback, but I have heard that it doesn't have the lag time in loading that many other dedicated players do.

      I've seen some players for cheaper than the PS3 is now, but if you're in the market for one then the PS3 would be a pretty good investment. It may not be doing stellar right now, but I think that'll change as Sony continues to lower the price (just as they did with the PS2).
