Just for the fun of it: The 2.40 client uses
about 1.34 TFlops to crunch one WU. Two of
these machines running at peak performance
would do about 1500 WUs pr. second.
However you would also need a quite good
network connection as these 1500 WUs pr.
second requires a bandwidth of about 4.2GBps
But heck - it would be fun to get to the
top of the seti@MURC crunchers list in 7
seconds.The geek shall inherit the Earth

Yeah, the two I have could be running that fast, but their net connection is through a shared 1200 baud modem. That's why my production is so low. Plenty of cycles left for solitare though. You should see how fast they run Windows 3.1 ... Wow
