    Distributed@MURC moving...

All I need now is to ask Guru a favour to copy the files over to the new server (<a href="ftp://ftp.distributedatmurc.co.uk">FTP</a>), same username/password as last server.

Then we have a live Dist@Murc site. I had planned to tweak the design - but I'm way too busy at the moment.

Stay tuned for that tweak in 2003

I have a spare hour at Uni (well, down to half an hour now). I'm transferring the files right now - hope to get this done asap

Got my fingers and toes crossed...

www.distributedatmurc.co.uk/index.shtml is the correct link...and what's going on? I went to upload some files, uploaded the index only - then 2 mins later the whole site was mirrored. Was that you or my hosts Guru?

The news script isn't working on the new server, and I can't seem to find where to edit the config files...could be some problems with the new cgi-bin or Unix mode changes needed...

However, stay tuned for a lack of updates

btw, I'm not actually using Dreamweaver at the moment - only Notepad and IE5 for ftp. Once I get my systems working better (it's all I seem to do, configure them - thought that was the domain of Linux? Anyway...), I'll get organised on keeping our updates synchronised.

                      Good question.

Note: The old script is still working

Might not even need to transfer the script...
