Not expected to be. Even the K6-2s FPUs were less powerful than a pentium or Pentium II. Only with the first Athlons did they start to crunch at an equivalent or higher speed and efficiency. Though they do work great for everything else.

I can pull 20,000 with my K7-600 if it was left on all day, but it is faster and has a better FPU.
