Hey Dimitri, use the "save as copy" under file if it's there to save them as jpg's.

What is the resolution and file size??? I usually reduce mine to 72dpi and 320X230 for posting.

Thanks Paul, but there isn't a save as copy anywhere. I have a REAL version of photoshop at my comp so I'll just use that later tonight. The file size is between 60 and 75k per file. They are 72 dpi and the resolution is 640x480. There a a lot of little tiny things in the pics so I think it is better to have it in a larger format. Of course, size isn't really an issue for me on a T1 so I should think about everyone using modems, but I don't think it will take too long to load. Will it? Thanks for your ideas.

640x480 will take quite a while to load, Dimi. You might have a T1, but most of us don't. I wonder how long Patrick will have to wait for seeing your mess at 9600 baud...

I can resize them if you want me to, usually it doesn't matter. If you still want to use my homepage-server, that is...

And I (or you) can put links underneath each picture so people can d/l the full 640x480 pictures themselves!

If it's more than a couple you may want to make them smaller.

Ok guys, I'll make it smaller due to popular demand and behalf of Patrick. Jord, I will definately want to be using your page until I figure out how to get mine working.... The link idea seems a good one as well. I think you guys will be impressed...

            Dimitri

BTW, how do I change the resolution? hehe, I figure I should ask this to save you the trouble of doing it Jord.

            Nevermind, figured it out.

ok, I've emailed the pics to Jord. He should be getting them some time soon. I have to appologize ahead of time though. We are currently cleaning up the garage, so everything there (including the desk) is much neater than it usually is.... Oh well, as Paul said (or something thereabouts), "Give me time and I'll be back...." You'll see em soon hopefully (eh Jord Thx again). If you want bigger pics so you can really see what's going on, ICQ me and I'll send em to you.

Ok, took me a while to get it working (as can be seen by those damn edits....), but now that I have, I believe an explanation is in order. This is a very bad version of a panoramic picture. The stool is the same in both the middle and left picture, as the big monitor (only working one in the pictures) is the same as well in the middle/right. I would like to point out the "naked" monitor in the right picture (the one without the case). Also, you can just make out the "garage vacuum system" in the right picture (the grey pipes). At the top of each picture, you can see that the garage is "insulated" with black plastic bags. There is a microscope in the middle picture (don't know why its' there) in a plastic bag next to the two stacked monitors. Also in the middle picture is a small pump from a medical building (Grey box thing just above the broken tv on the floor) which I will be using to possibly build a water cooler. hehe, The cases to the two computers sitting there between the monitors have been used to fix the bottom of some of the drawers in the left picture. You all were interested in cables judging from the first post, but being the son of an electrician, we don't have any cables lying around. YEAH RIGHT!!! lol They're in the other side of hte garage, but you can sort of see a mess of them next to the monitors in th emiddle and right pictures. So, how do I place?

                    Dimitri

P.S.: I have a picture of the office too, if anyone wants it.... hehe

Oh yeah, last thing that caught my attention was the nice little soldering iron next to the monitors in the middle picture. It's kind of hard to see though.

What's the matter people!?! No competition? Since I've posted my pics, hardly anyone even said anything. Maybe I'm disqualified cause it's not in my house, but it's still a desk.

Hey SCompRacer, I'm waiting on you and Hunsow to rate me!

                            Larger version is here.

It's about time for a purge, methinks. It'll stay clean for about a week, then I'll start upgrading stuff again...
