I feel sorry for Haig

I was reading thru the official matrox forums and it's kind sad the kind of crap he has to put up with. example: http://forum.matrox.com/mgaforum/For...ML/000136.html

Maybe they should hire Holly to run a soapbox over there.

I know, it's pathetic - and the most stupid thing about it is these people vent their anger at TECH SUPPORT - what the hell have they got to do with writing windows2000 drivers?

Unfortunately this is part of tech support. Dealing with the difficult ones too. Tech support is not easy. Fortunatley we have people like Haig in tech support.

Hah Hah Hah, Hah Hah Hah. My sides hurt from laughing so hard:

"Jeez, even Diamond, creative and 3dfx still support their earlier cards with BIOS revisions and Drivers!"

Diamond?!? Man, this is the hardest I've laughed in a long time. I should thank E-mu for the entertainment.

I could never work in tech. support.

I didn't catch the Diamond bit the first time. Bringing them into this argument certainly seems counterproductive. Haig's response could have been, "OK, from now on our driver and tech support will be just like Diamond's."

Thanks for thinking of me, Compton, but reading that thread, I think, "You couldn't pay me enough to try to keep order (much less reason) on those boards."

Not to mention that I wouldn't last long anyway... I'm sure they'd frown on me nuking the customers twice daily....

From what I've read, they are regularly deleting posts that are not related to the forum they're in (like rants in the troubleshooting forum).

This is exactly why I occasionally stick my nose in to the soapbox and admonish people for mean posts.

I know I probably sound like a dick when I do, but mean posts suck.

when I have to stay in,
you always find me by the phone.

My friends tell me that I'm lucky,
now that I'm living on my own,
and while they've never been more right,
can someone tell me when will love come home?

Why is it so hard (pardon the pun) for you to know what your dick sounds like? Aren't you guys always thinking with your dicks?
