Damn Police helicoptors

Forget the spelling I'm killing a bottle of cider. I live on a hill unfortutaley the damn copter doesn't release this and flys over sometimes very very low above our house. This must be some crimmo offensive surely someone knowing UK law please advise before our wind guage gets knocked off.

you could start a small fire on your hill by burning some old wood.... I am sure they would not like to fly through the smoke

TP, are you sure that horizontal platform on the top of the hill isn't a parking place for the rich, but maybe a police helicopter landing&take off platform?

Besides, be glad the pilot of the 'bird' realises he's nearing a hill, and flies over it, instead of slamming head on in you and your bottle of cider

I think in all 'civilized' countries, 'copters can't fly lower than some 900 ft above a city, and lower than 1500 ft if there's skycrapers around.

But when you live in the country, then there's no restriction as to how high a 'copter may fly... above sea they may even fly just above the wave-tops. (sometimes to avoid radar as well !!)

We've got a local airport here and I think it something to do with that. Unfortbaley when its 11.30 to 12.00 O'clock at night the last thing you want is a copter shining beams down the quarry opposite you 50 ft up in the air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They never catch anything anyway bar a few rabbits and a few compost heaps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've watched circling round (When it'sd light) and the getaway drivers must driving round in circles of less than a mile!
