Ok, I know what the P1 connector is for, but what is the P2 connector and the smaller connector for?

I got really bored and decided that I'm going to add a blowhole on the top of my chassis Tomorrow I will buy some metal cutting shears and a Dremmel to smooth the edges.

that case you're working on looks really cool... want to trade with mine ? :-)

My case isn't to bad either... I can open it without using a screwdriver (requires just one large screw you can take out with your hand). Problems with the case however are that the reset button is far to small (and I am running windows), and the lowest 5,25" drive bay can't be used for CDROM and stuff, because my motherboard DIMM's are blocking it... it just si not that well designed (mmaybe I will make some pictures soon of my addincards.... my pc is really stuffed up :-)

The small connector is the additional 6 position connector used on some ATX motherboards for additional power. The P2 connector appears to be 1 of 2 power connectors used on AT style motherboards. There is not another one that looks like the P2 connector?

Jeff, Nope, no additional P2 connector for AT mobo's. Hmm...? I wonder what it is for?

Ace, yeah, it's the rubber one alright. my dog didin't give it a second look at first, but he goes through bone withdrawals so he eventually gave in and started liking it He does like the other though.

Dave, I hope you will put some sort of guard over that blowhole. Murphy's law and all..

I never even put drinks on my desk for fear of dumping them over and fouling up my equipment.. hate to think of all the possibilities with a hole in the top of my case..

I remember my college days.. I was rather temperamental.. While playing Missle Command down in the gameroom, I felt the game had cheated me somehow. A can of 7UP poured in the back of this machine seemed to have all sorts of weird effects on it..

Yeah, I covered it up with a fan guard I'll post a pic of it as soon as I get my camera back from my brother-in-law. I'm thinking of installing two more fans on teh side of the case pointing at the cards, what do all of you think about that? Is it a good idea?
