          Ooh, JavaScript pulldown menus. Original. Matrox always had good web design. "Why not?" is probably the only reason for the change.

                          I rather like it myself. Graphically intensive splash pages are obnoxious, especially when you are on a dialup connection. A simple page is easier to navigate, and quicker to load.

                          Besides which, the only thing they've redone so far is the splash page.
