I suppose better late than never.
The same story appeared in John Honeybulls back page column in current PC PRO.
Given that the current edition is dated January 2001, and the article was probably written a month ago, it doesn't bode well for the ability of the writers at The Register to come up with their own stories.
I've heard other people describe The Register as a crap website where the 'news' is heavily biased, and this story just confirms it. -
