Hi, my name's Steve, and I have a problem...

I believe that I have a DVD addiction problem. Since getting my DVD player a week or so back, I have to force myself not to go into places like HMV and virgin as I almost always end up buying a film! I can't afford this! help me!!!

have you thought about renting dvds instead of buying?? alternatively,try getting out more & socialising!!

Stevec for a price of dvd you have a good night out in a pub get blastered and have loads of fun talking to the female of the species.
Then if you're married get into trouble for doing it!

Believe me, my girlfriend is not impressed at my impulse buying.... the TV and DVD player I watch the films on were impulse buys.....

PS: I also have nights out (I only see my g/f at the weekends - she's at college during the week) and I spend too much at the weekends too!

This is my stupid student loan... I'm spending it on luxuries...

I'm doing an Ian Beale! (sorry, just watched eastenders!)

Ah a student I remember those days £36.00 quid for the first round at the end of term and that was ten years ago.
Priming yourself at the union bar for the most boring lecture of the year then getting merry and thinking ballcocks to it and then going on a 12hr binge instead.
Those were the days.

Ah, memories.. I remember spending my student loan on hundreds of vinyl LP records just a couple of years before CDs came out.. Then, when I got my credit cards I went nuts with Laserdiscs. Luckily I also spent money on really expensive equipment to play these things on. Shoulda saved that cash and bought stock in Oracle and Microsoft or something. Now that I AM in the stock market, it goes bearish for the first time in a decade. Does my timing suck or what?
