Your favourite bit of road
Thought I might try to get the car-related threads started again.
This time, describe your favourite bit of road - either an actual piece of road, or just a particular type of road that you like - and why you like it.

The Road: Highway 17 through the Blackbutt Ranges about 1 1/2 hours north west of Brisbane. It's only about 2 or 3 kilometres long, and I've only driven it about 6 times, but I've enjoyed every inch of it each time.
Why: It's your typical sort of mountain climb (although we're only talking about 300m altitude change here), with about a dozen or so left right alternating bends all separated by about 100-200m. Basically it consists of accelerate hard to fourth gear; brake, downshifting to second; take bend; repeat;
The car: My 1997 Pulsar LX (although it would be nice to do it in a Skyline GT-R or some such supercar, but let's be realistic ).
The music: The exhaust note from my 3" exhaust and the occasional Bellbird call from the forest.
