I will see over the next month or two how much bandwidth we consume and that will give me an idea of our yearly hosting costs. I will avoid signing up to any ad networks unless it is absolutely the last option for me to keep the site alive. I may try and seek out a site sponsor but that remains to be seen. -Ant

Here here! I don't care much about ads...sometimes they are a necessary evil, but I have no complaints about you using them as a contribution to the site, never mind a profit!

Make as much money as you want

Header banners are my favourites, I can just ignore them, popups I don't like, and 23 adverts all through the page would be too much.

I can't see *anyone* objecting to a header banner, and if they would, they'll have the sense to use WebWasher...
