nVidia/Matrox lawsuit

FYI
I'm not sure if anyone is interested but someone asked the question a few days earlier about the nvidia/Matrox lawsuit. It seems that Ben over at Beyond3d has raised a thread with the same info.

ITEM 1. LEGAL PROCEEDINGS

On February 22, 2000, Graphiques Matrox, Inc. and Systemes Electroniques
Matrox Ltd. (collectively "Matrox") filed suit against us in the Superior Court,
Judicial District of Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada. The suit alleged that
we improperly solicited and recruited Matrox employees and encouraged Matrox
employees to breach their Matrox confidentiality and/or non-competition
agreements. The suit by Matrox sought, among other things, certain injunctive
relief. The trial of this matter occurred during April, 2001. On July 12, 2001,
the court issued its ruling in favor of us and dismissed all of Matrox's claims.
Matrox has not appealed this ruling and the time for appeal passed August 13,
2001.

This text is on NVidias page under investor relations / SEC filings and there under legal proceedings. These are quarterly reports of the company for shareholders and such where ongoing (and finished) legal actions have to be commented. A similar document should have been issued by Matrox.

Except that Matrox is privately held. They tend not to talk about this stuff.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

... but i do know Matrox recently got their new high-end silicon ready and functional, (d)on't know whether that's g800 or something else, but AFAIK it should be dx8-compliant and beyond (dx9 compliancy is still to be defined)
Do these people know something we don't? Or does everyone that know something on this board under NDA?

And that, boys and girls, is why we must keep Gurm on his medication.

Quick, offer Gurm some donuts. He may forget about the NDA. Then again he might forget what he is not telling.

Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.
