Would you like chips with that?

Tropical.... It's mainly the guppies that have sniffed it

I thought the point behind guppies was to watch 'em die of mysterious causes? The problem we always seem to have with our fish is that they'd almost invariably end up dead or dying from one disease or another... thats when we gave up and switched to more "robust" pets... spiders.

We had a really pretty Pink Toe that unfortunatly turned out to be male. Upon completing his final moult he went berserk and began scurrying about his cage until he broke a leg in a bad spot. Since he didn't have any molts left (only females molt once they're mature) we "sacrificed" him to the... um.... "God of Garbage Disposers".

Probably our most successfull pet has been Spot, a jumping spider.

My best mammalian pet: Roxy, a 150 lb. female German Shepard.

Roxy was smarter than most people I've known and strong as a bull. More than one breakin was foiled just by her showing up. Her only problem was that she thought she was still a lap dog

My best reptilian pet: Dino, an 8 lb male Iguana.

Dino thought he was a 150 lb. German Shepard and took great pleasure in chasing various dogs, cats & other critters out of the room he happened to be inhabiting at the time

My best invertibrate pet: Freyja, a large T.blondi tarantula. 8" now and it looks like she'll get to the 11" stated as the "maximum" size without any problems.

Freyja = chief of the Valkyries, the Norse demigoddesses of death and battle.

                        Jon,

Completely off topic...what headphones are those in your avatar?

                        Paddy,

Sounds like you need some crowd control in your fish tank.

If you care about your fish, you should never ever feed them people food and never put unwashed hands in your tank.

They're Sennheiser HD-600's. Paddy's fish would probably feel a lot better if they had some nice headphones to listen too also.
