I never said that !!! I DONT think the US only screws things up. But it does sometimes. And there are people who think the US hasnt made any mistakes.
We all make mistakes. I absolutely think that those responsible for Sept. 11th should be killed.
And yes, this is a war. I dont know how succesfull this will be, but i hope it wont stop after you get bin Laden.

However if it stops striaght after Bin Laden this will confirm (To the Muslims) what Muslims are preaching in some Mosques it's war against the Muslim faith. That will only point a lot more trouble in the future.

Believe it of not, most Americans are VERY uncomfortable with our nations role as the world's policeman. Most Americans are suspicious to one degree or another of police, so to be compared to police on a global scale is particularly offensive.

If we took up this mantle voluntarily, it's because 1939 taught a stark lesson that a lot of folks tend to forget: despite the sincerest efforts of the best diplomats the international community has to offer, sometimes diplomacy fails. The reason diplomacy fails is that irresponsible leaders come to power who use diplomacy as a tool to stall for time, consolidate their authority, and build their military to the point that they can tell the diplomats to f**k off.

Like it or not, there are some bastards out there that you just can't negotiate with.
