Pretty Interesting Thread

Lots of sensible things being said. Much disagreements. (Mostly) non-foul language (shame on Matt ). Amazing it hasn't degenerated into an out and out flame war. Perception is a bitch as I'm sure there are a few readers of this thread who (rightly or wrongly) mirror the sentiment of impact's post. Not me of course. Hey Sasq, I've only left my country twice and while I don't necessarily think it is the best place in the world, it is where I'd rather live, and I don't see that changing. Mark you I can live elsewhere but I'd have to put up with a lot of shit that I can't be bothered to put up with. (Racism etc.)

I am sure that Rags is on the same game.... for a game is what it is. We are discussing contentious issues, which we know we will disagree on. That is OK while its not personal. I am not (for about the 10th time) a communist, never have been I do not agree with many of the policies of the govenment of the US (Britian either ) but again thats ok. The debate is why we are here, not to put people down, nor to convert others.

I'm choosing Japan to live not only for my benefit but also my new brides and here is a safer place for our children to grow up (settle down guys not for a few years yet)
