I know a girl that had that happen. In NJ it's illegal to pump your own gas. One time the attendant left the hose in the car.

this actually happened to my mum in my stepdads brandnew 1992 (at the time) Ford 150 4x4 black Night special edition truck.

Except with the truck, she took the whole box that pumps the gas out too. all the way down the road.

Thankful for her, she used to own the grocery store/gas station that she did this too, so they let her go without having to pay anything for the gas tank... it was an insurance claim.

How did that happen? I guess they were a little slow to upgrade? For quite a few years they have been building gas pumps with a release valve so that the hose pops off, like that BMW picture there.

it was an old place out in the country, they still had the old style that had the old counters on them. i dont know what they have now, i havent stopped there in about 5 years.. i hope they would have upgraded by now
