Who owns hockey now?

Congrats to the Canadian men's hockey team, the gold medal is back where it belongs! I only wish that the American team would of made a game of it.

You only won because Satan plays hockey for Canada.

Who owns hockey? That's easy, it's the USA. The Canadians play it, but we pay them to play for us.

Americans might be able to buy our players but yesterday they couldn't buy a gold medal

any amount of complaining and coming up with excuses won't change the fact that Team Canada has the Gold medal around their necks.

They had to let Jim S win, he was the crowd favorite, even here in Canada.

The NHL owns Hockey

After all the NHL swept the Gold and Silver medals. I thought it was cool that team mates were playing against each other. I think they all went away from the final game with a lot more respect for each other.

So, did you Canucks get the day off from work yesterday?????

Unfortunately we had to work although it felt like holiday with all the "Proud to be Canadian" attitudes that I bumped into.

who owns hockey?

- millionaires own hockey.

A group of multi-millionaire green card holding
and Naturalized U.S. citizens won canada a gold medal for
the highest achievement in "Amateur" hockey.

No matter how you slice it hockey is not a pure sport anymore; it is big business. If you want to see amateur sport in hockey go to a small local rink; it may not be pretty but it is real.

dc

ps...I thought the olympics was about amateur sport anyways.

It was until the NBA sent in their pro's to the summer Olympics.
