WTF is up with the Weather?

Its May 21 and only a month away till Summer Starts in the Northern Hemispere....but what the hell is the deal with the Temps on the East Coast? A month ago it was nearly 95 degrees out and today theres an expected high temp of 59 degrees out, when it normally should be around 70+ out. Whats going on? Warm Winter, cold summer?

It's Le Onin. A new phenomenon that indicates bizarrely ****ed-up water temperatures over 90% of the globe, but only affects east-coast USA.

Oh, and also "global cooling", which is a relatively unexplored phenomenon related to "white-house gasses".

Today's high in KC is supposed to hit 68 F (20 C). In the 15 years I have lived here, its normally in the 80+ F (27+ C) by now.

Well I can say I certainly do appreciate the cool front passing through here in the last couple of days... we've only had rain three times in the last 2.5 months and way above average temps. Today the temps are right at normal (28c) but have been at this temp or much higher for the last 2.

It's a welcome breather that for sure, but I wish we had part of the rain that the midwest has seen over the last month or so.
