    If only... the farm was an escape from real industry 10 years ago.

    My forefathers have all been mech eng's. I wussed out and went and took "General" engineering - so have a little knowledge on everything from VLSI design to pre-stressed concrete, but not enough to apply it (except agricultural engineering which involves a steel-toecapped welly against the engine compartment of the tractor )
