I guess I should get out of Canada for a while and spend a few weeks in the UK to get to know their language!
Don't get me wrong, it's still english, but their expressions are beyond me sometimes.

Hehe, I don't think anybody should be offended by that. It's like the french language. Go to Quebec city and compare the way french is spoken to someone who is from France. BIG difference. It's the same with North Americans and Europeens.

Just to clarify, I never said Joel was not doing a fine job. Just lately he maybe overworked and could use a break. His recent remarks were untypical of what I have seen by him over the past.
The two are not incompatible. You can being doing a good job generally but still deserve a trip away.
