Well this where self preservation kicks in. No one (bar the fruit and nut cases) wants to get blown up. But again it's seperating the Muslims out and will cause more hatred against there kind in Russia.Comment

I wish they had tried this when Stalin was in charge.. we would not be hearing anything about these "Chechens" today, any more than we would be hearing about what the mammoths or dodo birds are doing.

Don't think Josef would've cared much about the hostages either. They were probably already traitors solely by becoming hostaged.
