    My isp's shitty DNS servers!

Now the DNS servers are down again and I can only reach sites that I have in the Host file.....

One of the two speccified DNS servers are always DEAD!!! never responds....

The otherone is also a mailserver and its hopelesly slow....

    AAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!

and If I call the ISP:

"It must be something wrong with your NIC"

    or
"Oh, you're using a router it must be broken"

    or
"Hm... I cant reach your MAC number...
Your NIC/Router/Windows/computer is broken please replace/replace/reinstall"

    UURGHHHHH

    I hate it!!!

My host file will be growing!!!

Seems to be the only way

Ouch!! Now that sucks. I hate it when we call places like that and they think we know nothing..

my favourite techsupport call was when i had problems with DSL on my linux box, it rejected my password. basically all i wanted to know if the password has a special format or needs some additional chars or sth.

ok so i call and say i have a trouble with my DSL password, and i'm in front of my linux console now. so the guy says: ah that is a common problem. i can tell you EXACTLY what to do. first, on your desktop, click on My Computer.

                    Well,
Tech suport in sweden is a joke!!

                    Why?

                    Well,
In sweden when you hire someone new, you get funding from the state for six months....

So everyone is newly hired and all those that starts to learn after having done it for six months gets fired, and a new brave soul is hired

about one in ten has a clue.....

and one in thirty actualy knows enough to help instead of making a mess....
