Riddle for the Hebrew guys around here

Some of you may have seen this, but still - do you know what it means?

1 problem though, we don't use this language in Hebrew (holy xxx, 'dig' etc.)
This whole pharse can work only in English.

I don't understand any of it, but can a Donkey be translated to an ass in Afrikaans as well ?
Not to mention the term "dig" as "see".

Pretty much yes. We (Afrikaans speaking people in South Africa) seem to be blessed with a whole mess of words imported from other languages - English and French in particular.

Our dumbass government has also found it pertinent to declare South Africa to have no less than 11 official languages - you can therefore just imagine the bithcing going on when an official document has to be published for public consumption.

Well, I knew that joke, but I'm not Hebrew. As dogbert states, I can imagine it only works in (American) English...

And here in Canada everyone' always bitching about French and English. They can't seem to agree that there should be 2 official languages NATIONWIDE.

Ja - ik verstaat(?) jouw wel - het gaan egter niet zo vlot als Engils (?) .

Man - its been 21 years since I last tried my hand at "Nederlands" - I seem to remember having to study and comment on a set piece called "Kaas" in either standard 9 or 10.

In the UK we have lots of different languages - cockney, yorkshire, lancashire etc...

But also Wales has Welsh as an official language - you are taught it in school there and all signs etc have to be in both languages.

Yeah, most people want one or the other but the fact of the matter is that they are both the official languages.
