Apology to Matrox and MURC...

Just wanted to do a quick apology to those people at MGA and those at MURC. who have had to put up with me being an ****ole in the public forums and through email. I've been thinking about things and realized just how much of an ass i've been about things I probably shouldn't have...

Things look fine from here DGhost. We both raised the heat a bit over norcimo, but he needed it. Norcimo is the kind of guy that won't last here at MURC. If you're clueless and calm, we'll educate you; if you're clueless and combatant (as he was), we'll knock you out of the park.

Blah. Just come salsa dancing tonight and forget about it. That, or I might hit Horsetooth Lanes with some old work friends.

Well, there was that. I was mostly referring to the way I have treated Haig and others about the banding issues. I have been a little bit... ermm... yeah :P

these people are just doing there jobs, shouldn't make it that much harder for them.

Well when you are faced with having paid out so much money for a product with such a fault (that the company has known about all along) and the company concerned does nothing but buries its head in the sand about the issue you've every right to get damn well pissed off, I certainly would be.

You have to know difference between tech support staff who is doing the job and takes all the flames and management who makes decisions and who is in lot's of cases responsible for what causes the flames (speaking generally and not about particular company).

And don't be a d*ck to those who are not guilty and are just doing their job. If however you get to speak (in rare occasions) to the one responsible flames are in order. But arguments and rhetorical crush is still better than swearing, insulting and yelling.

For instance this ISP tech support girl on the other side of phone line was very surprised when after telling about my complaints I explained that I understand it's not her fault and that's she's merely doing her job.

@Haig, I have yet to see better tech support.
