    I'm off - have a great Xmas etc!

    Right. I fly out tomorrow morning to have my non-denominational holiday season in Vietnam for 3 weeks - and somehow I doubt I'll be posting on MURC when I'm out there...

    So for all of you Christians out there, have a Great Christmas

    For all of you who use the MS Windows Calendar (or MSN Calendar), have a great New Year.

    And the rest of you... have fun!

                                                      I'm BACK from my "tour of duty" in 'Nam!

                                                      Slightly tanned, a bit jet lagged, and with several films to develop... Christmas day was in a bar in Hue (near the DMZ); New Year we spent in Hoi Anh getting lots of clothes tailored cheaply, then headed for some beach in Nha Trang...

                                                      No sign of Lorraine and Adrian, Tony... apart from the fact that I don't know what they look like of course

                                                      I came straight into work this morning from the airport (landed at 5:40 am!) - so now am a little dazed and confused.

                                                      What did I miss around here? 1.03 drivers, dx9 (is it worth the d/l effort on dialup (for both the drivers and dx9?), more random speculation on the state of Matrox in TCB, more random political and frivolous threads here in TSB... anything else?

                                                      Hope you all had a nice xmas/new year/whatever...

                                                      edit: oh yeah - was a little bit surprised by 3" snow in London - when I left Saigon yesterday it was 30 deg. C!!!
