    Firewall logs

How many of you sends the logs to your isp over attempted hacks or machines that are infected with virus and trojans????

I never bother even if the same machine keeps popping up day after day.

I often get so many messages, most of them are not relevant to hacks and what not, that I don't bother to send them either.

When I was running a UT server, I kept close track of the IP addresses of all the players, particularly the problem children. I kept a close eye on my Firewall logs and reported any attempts at sending my server or gaming computer trojans that were from players I had trouble with repeatedly. Also, if an IP came up frequently, I reported that also. In my case, reporting these attempts to Speakeasy did some good. Most did not repeat.
