I've noticed it too which is why I didn't come to MURC as much as I used to. I usually tend to avoid starting or participating in any kind of moaning, arguing or bitching, but there seems to be a lot of it lately and it seems to be getting worse. Seriously, I've always felt that MURC is a friendly place...but the last 6-12 months the TSB has been getting more and more aggressive. Ant has kept us going - hope you can all put your confidence in his abilities to keep it going for another few years yet

I think part of the reason for this is that the Matrox Hardware outlook has gone to shit and people are expressing/venting their fustrations in the Soap box. I dunno about you but Soap Box and General Hardware/software are my main draws to this site at this time....you can only rehash G-series problems so many times and going Matrox's site give you the oppertunity to talk to tech support directly, which cuts down on the need for that fourm to the uninformed. I run a G550 Which is what attracted me to this site in the first place... However...
My main port of call was TSB, Where I enjoyed the picture game as well and the lively, intelligent debate on various - sensitive topics !!
A refreshing change from all the MOS/Aos crap that goes down on the other forums I frequent.

But the war threads were becoming too much, and something had to be done about it. Perhaps closing the Soap Box was a bit drastic but a new forum will let us have a fresh start. Hopefully we can go back to all the fun threads about Liz, Zoke's avatar and sig tests
