This has been the most embarrassing thread I have seen here in a long time (not counting TSB).

This forum is renouned for being clean and friendly, and a moderator no less goes out of his way to bring it down to the lowest level Ive ever seen it.

Bacon was very resonable, yet he gets flamed.

I think the reason bacon got flamed is because he comes and tells Greebe not to make personal insults, then in the same breath he calls Greebe a cretin....hypocrisy is the surest way to get flamed, but that's just my opinion.

Well...back on the subject of the G550....

Why are they going to release a gaming card based on the G550 if they didn't with the G450? Did this have something to do with the stolen engineers causing an upset in matrox's planning?
I think matrox has had a large part of the business market because of the success of the G400: "from the company that brought you the G400" Anyway.......

From what I've read on-line, specifically the quote from a Matrox rep in which he spouted something along the lines of:

I believe there WILL BE a high end, nVidiot kicking card coming up. I has just got to be a new chip! No way they could get that performance from the G450/550 line.
