    What you read was me posting the fact that VigilAnt said the new card would probably be announced in 1 month, maybe 2. I then speculated that the 8th would be one month since his post. That's it! Nothing else to see, move along Two people on these forums did say that Matrox is gathering people for a press release and that's supposed to happen somehwere aroudn the middle of this month. Who knows....we are all in the dark. Just gotta sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride

                                        The next product will NOT be anything like the eTV or G550 or any of the other "G" cards. It's a totally new generation of hardware.

                                        That it will, IMHO, be a boon for video editors is just a side effect of its long feature list.
