it's been a while since they've released a Marvel product; with one undoubtedly in the works, hopefully they'll take a few cues from ATI and NVIDIA.

well if haig has made one thing perfectly clear its that there wont be a marvel type card. I guess with firewire and the likes they saw the capture thing going in a different direction. Its funny though with the other companies it seems to be standard stuffs now when you pay $300 + for a video card. But its a marketing thing, 90% software and i'm sure they could throw something out there quickly if they changed there minds.P4 1.6A @ 2.24 ghz

I must remind you that Matrox MGA does graphic cards and Matrox Video Product Group does video cards... By video cards I mean video production and like.
Products like RT2500 use MGA's graphic chip to render real time 3D effects so why can't VPG use the chip for another purpose?

Hi guys,
It's been kind of quiet for a few days - not good. I see AMD have named the 'Hammer' "Opteron" - sheesh: which banana-eater thought of that?
Things tend to happen in threes (stupid names included), so maybe we will see a Matrox GOAT after all.
