Running Dungeon Siege at 1024x768x32 I average 27 fps. WHen tons of stuff is on the screen....6-7 fps. And that's with a Kyro II. I can't even imagine what it would be like on a G400.

Jammrock - needs a Parhelia for Dungeon Siege and WarCraft III.

Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

Actually you'd better get a faster CPU to improve your WC3 speed. It matters more than the videocard.

I agree in the case of DS though.

Moving upto an Athlon XP with that KyroII would roughly double your framerates.

Leave it to impact to have a totally vacuous statement.

Some people prefer Matrox cards. Many more will prefer them when they are fast, fast, fast.

                  blah blah.

I'd love to upgrade the CPU and mobo, but my money has gone elsewhere lately...ahem... ... ...damn income taxes.

Not me man. My moving allocation was taxed at bonus rates. Between that and my college tuition and loans, I get half of my withholding back

The IRS took another $100 off me this year, despite contributing to the loss of 25% of my income during the regular year (yes, yes, I know 25% is nothing to you Socialists...). The State of Kansas took a big ol' stick and beat over $200 extra off me.

Time to increase your withholdings....or start dumping some bux into an IRA/401k to make it untaxable and/or move you into a lower bracket.
