    Performance Predictions

    Thought it might be fun to have a guess at some hyperthetical benchmarks. For example, what do you think the card will score in 3D Mark 2001 SE if it runs on a typical gaming rig, say an Athlon 1800+ with 512MB DDR 2100?

    We could predict different scores for the different 'flavours' of card (we're expecting the cards to be specced @ different speeds, etc).

    Anyone who guesses spot-on can win.....

    A bunny!

      I predict that it will perform beyond any of my needs. I'm more interested in the new features, including DVD and TV (HDTV?) support.

          11546 3dmark, and the parhelia won´t be the bottleneck.

                          i know *g*, i'am just dreaming. even if it just arround 10k it will be MUCH more than good enough for all i want to do with that card.
                          the card will be my only card for the next 2 - 3 years.ok, only if it has the quality i do know from my other matroxcards.

                                                      Kinda makes me wonder how high i could get it with my setup.....

                                                      I could already be playing in the high 13's low 14 K scores with a GF4 4600 card(suitably o/c'd of course)...


                                                      Is 20K possible with my setup?.....
                                                      note to self...

                                                      Assumption is the mother of all f***ups....

                                                      Primary system :
                                                      P4 2.8 ghz,1 gig DDR pc 2700(kingston),Radeon 9700(stock clock),audigy platinum and scsi all the way...
