Please read carefully what Matrox sais. They show a blurried screenshot that comes from "<i>Some</i> Multisample Algorythms". They know why they are so vague, this screenshot is Quincunx, nothing else...
Also Matrox sais: "FAA-16 delivers <b>the same</b> or better inner texture quality as other FSAA techniques". This clearly shows that <b>some</b> FSAA techniques are equal in terms of texture quality compared to FAA-16, while others (= Quincunx) are not.
