    N-patches

If this has been discussed before you'll have to pardon me.

I was looking at the Parhelia512 feature sheet over at Matrox and under Hardware Displacement Mapping they state:

"Support for Bezier curves and N-patch (PN-triangle) evaluation."

Does that mean we'll have some kind of Trueform ?

Parhelia does indeed support N-Patches. They'll likely support Truform in Direct3d as it's part of DirectX , but under OpenGL I think there might be a licensing issue with ATI

if i understand correctly, then their "depth adaptive tesselation", works for n-patches as well as displacement maps.
This sig is a shameless atempt to make my post look bigger.
