    Parhelia Pro

Don't know much about it. Matrox Marketing said this is the 256meg version due out 3 to 6 months from now.

He couldn't say if it would be clocked higher or not. I would expect it to cost around 100 more.

just let them run it on 300 or 350 mhz!
then there will be a small chanche I buy one!

    i'm very very very dissapointed!

I'm totally in love with the 2D and 10bit part of the Parehelia!

but I won't pay that much for a card wich 3D part wich will not even be good enough for next gen games (Doom III, UT2003)...
not that I play games that much, but to pay €400 dollar for a 2D card....

6 months is a looooooooooong time. They'll need more than 300mhz in 6months time. NV30 will be out around then, and R300 will be getting ready for it's 6month clock increase.
      Primary system specs:
      Asus A7V266-E | AthlonXP 1700+ | Alpha Pal8045T | Radeon 8500 | 256mb Crucial DDR | Maxtor D740X 40gb | Ricoh 8/8/32 | Toshiba 16X DVD | 3Com 905C TX NIC | Hercules Fortissimo II | Antec SX635 | Win2k Pro

it will most likely compete with the quadro and fireGl, and at $500 its competing very well price-wise.
This sig is a shameless atempt to make my post look bigger.
