    new card

    is matrox in the process of making a new card to replace parhelia?

    are there any rumors ?? i was disappointed with parhelia, but like matrox and am waiting for a "miracle"

          No, it's not time for them to make new Parhelia yet.
          They should solve performance problem with the current one first
          and then think about getting a new one released, becuase if
          the performance is still on the ground, who would go for Parhelia2 even when
          it comes out.

                      Traditionally Matrox always release a product in April / June. We should see a trimmed down Parhelia 64MB (or Parhelia 8X), probably with bug fixes. I think their old buggy Parhelia cores are almost sold out... at least i don't think Matrox and UMC made too much of them anyways. Assuming they know the problems with Parhelia during R&D, they couldn't have made too much of their P cores. At least that's what I think.

                          well i for one am getting impatiant.... i just bought a new g550 becuse the one i have has a busted sec. head.... not paying for pharelia till i see some realy good performance... especialy on OGL and especialy when it does something for my discreet combustion 2 set up.... argggg.... come on M anounce something......

                              hey dragon... did you regrat your recent purchase? Since the rumored "Matrox Millennium P750" or something like that is gonna be romored "anounced".

                              That sucks... Matrox can't do things correctly... (or maybe they do this time... the card seems pretty cheap)
