There is no "sense of humor" there. The problem is that the Register purports to be an actual news source... and then makes no attempt to back up the validity of any of their statements. They never print retractions, or do followups unless they were right.
That's not "news". That's "guessing".
Some of their articles today are funny, yes. But sadly, they're no funnier than their articles yesterday, or last week, or tomorrow.
