Easy solution one was one of staff members looking for a collegue. The others I redirected to our wonderful web pages.

Shucks dumb users have also rung up.

One can't use the mouse and need basic lesson in that. The others don't know what a web browser is or what operating system they're using.

My mood doesn't improve when some bright spark launches a new trial system with out of date and inaccurate instructions.

I've news for you they're getting even more common.
I wish the University would give them basic computer skills like how to turn the computer on, how to turn the monitor on etc.

we have a class like that at uni.... only poblem is it never got them any where.....
