I remember when the Grand Prix first came to Adelaide, we had a German tourist I believe walk into the tourist information office and ask when it was low tide so he could walk to Kangaroo Island. (shortest distance is about the same as the shortest distance between France and the UK).

They told him when low tide was and wished him luck.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England
