    I dont mind, though the lounge can get a bit 'plastic' these days....

    quiet is nice - but a dead forum isn't....

                Nicer, yes. Although I am sure some people would comment on the signal-to-noise ratio (you know who you are!)

                At least the noise is well filtered unlike some forums that I could mention...

                    Don't mention Rage3d. The signal to noise ratio is a big problem in other forums. Post a problem then scroll through three pages trying to find it again.
                    Unless of course you like being emailed each time there's a reply. This then ends up being a spam marathon if you've dared suggest their beloved hardware isn't as good as they think it is.

                            Murc has a small section of diehards who are capable of handling most questions. It doesn't take long to get a good answer here. It seems to be something unique in the forum world.

                                    Best bit about it to be honest. You got threads grumbling about the KT133 chipset not working properly. Wow I'm amazed it's old it's bugged get over it.
                                    Viahardware or whatever it's called now used to be alright as long as you didn't criticise the via chipset too much. If you did one moderator would descend in anger and sprout of a load of rubbish. Old George used to be good though.
                                    Viaareana used to be good for a laugth watching the denials.

                                        Yeah the Lounge is much nicer with all the political threads out of here. So, yeah make it a "permanent temp forum."
