    Recommend Music

To post something useful (kind of) in the lounge for once...

Please post one or a few pieces of music you think other MURCers might not know, or which don't get the attention they deserve.

    OK, I'll start.

Die Fantastischen Vier - Millionen Legionen UNPLUGGED (it's in german, and quite well known here. It's important to listen to the unplugged version!).

Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy (though this might be well-known)

I surely like hard rock and metal, but definately not Megadeath

I heard Megavier a few years ago and didn't like it at all.

But thanx for the idea !

We get very little German/European rock on the radio over here, which is a shame, because it's gotta be better than the whiny dreck US labels try and cram down our throats. What little I've heard I like.

I don't like Megavier either, it's just Krach

I know and like Ten Sharp - You (sometimes)

I'm gonna borrow the other songs listed here and listen to them

I thought it was meant to be stuff others MURCers had not heard of

How about Sweatloaf by the Butthole Surfers

                            - The Movidas (this one is not good but they are very close friends of mine )

I would highly recommend (from music genres bearable to anybody I think...and from the bands that most of you probably newer heard of)

                              Budka Suflera
                              D¿em
                              T.Love
                              Lombard
                              HEY
                              Lady Pank
                              Perfect

Unfortunately you won't undestand a word...too bad really, because all of this bands (especially the last ones) gave to us here songs that can be considered as hymns of one (or two...) generation...
Of course if you really want I can post most important titles also...
Damn langual differences...I would really like to appreciate some music (in some less common languages than English) not only for its melody...

edit: I've remembered about two songs that you'll definetely undestand...too bad that they're subpar in comparision to the ones I'm talking above
Wilki - "Son of the blue sky" (they're not listed above...because it's the only song of them worth noting imho - wierd that it's not in polish)
HEY - "Dreams" (I would really like to recommend other in this case)
