Now thats what I call good service

My ADSL connection dropped off tonight. Repowered the router just in case still no ip. Rang the ISP up and within four rings got a recorded message saying there was a power outage.
    Are you listening BT.
An estimated time was given which was beaten by a long way.
I didn't have a snotty technician wasting my time before trotting off after ten minutes to find that the servers were down.
This is what customers want service.

Who is your ISP? With service like that you should be mentioning them in big bold letters

but surely there should be some contingencey?

          consider

          u.tv

          (Utv Internet)

          (cool domain name too )

double fallover Routers in 2 different cities (Belfast and Dublin)- the only time the service has failed in 2 years has been planned - with emails to users 1 week in advance.

Serious Generator backup too in Belfast.
