So let me get this straight. A bloke had this idea 20 years ago. It took him 7 years to botch together a prototype from RC car parts. It didn't work. Now he's got a mate to render some "nice" drawings and says he's going to make another model at some point in the future, and has chatted to a friend of a friend who is a web journalist in the meantime.Under development since 1984, the project produced a radio controlled test model in 1991 - which "met with a violent end" in attempting the transition from vertical to horizontal flight. A new R/C test vehicle is planned as an experimental platform for testing...
