My brother's new car
Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive, bubble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine. -- Dr. Perry CoxTags: None

Good good. So that's ... still too damn much. *sigh*
Blue book on that car in my neck of the woods is $34k USD...
No, wait. I take that back. I had no idea the American dollar was up to $1.40 CAN. WOW. Yikes!
So it's only like $1000 too much.

Don't you mean down to $1.40? It was at $1.50-1.55 until recently.
Anyway, that's not the price he payed for it. He got several thousand off the price shown.Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. In my part of the world that car (used) would likely cost $110.000+. I'd give anything to have cars be that "cheap" over here
EDIT: And that would be Canadian $ of course. If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

Yeah.. the 200+% luxury tax on cars there puts a defenite damper on the car shopping
.. not mentioning the mandatory road tax, the expensive gasoline etc...
