Problem is that (well in the US) that the Economy was slowing down way before GWB even came into office and then add in 9/11 and war in Iraq and all well not a envorment conductive to conduct business in. My company announces their earnings on Aug. 5th. I usually use our company earnings report and future outlook as a guide of how the economy is doing
