    Weather this week

...is going to be hot hot hot in England.

Mid 30s most of the week, humidity gradually increasing thoughout, with risk of thunderstorms towards next weekend, but a return to heat when they pass.

Let's just say I'm not comfortable above about 19 deg c...

Work and the Tube are going to be really fun this week

Yesterday, 36°C in our shady patio, probably nudging 40° in Nicosia. So far, 1° higher today. Very pleasant, except in direct sunlight. RH very low ~25 - 30% during the day, slightly higher in the evenings, when aircon becomes necessary,

However, the TV reported 52°C in Seville yesterday. Now THAT'S hot!

Absolutely! It's horrible! And the sun shines into our windows all day (we have all our windows to one side, which doesn't help get at least a little bit of draw, too )

      I'm melting.

52°C! Must make a mental note never to go to Seville in the summer!

52c isn't that a world record. News probably getting it wrong.

Yeh I'm looking forward to work like a hole in the head. First rule get down to the server run as much as possible.

Cooler than normal with rain 1-3 days a week here in Michigan. In fact our local utility company is reporting its profits down 30% for the first half of the summer because nobody's using air conditioning.

Looking at the maps the jet stream has dipped down to the Tennessee area, putting us in an air mass that originates in the Canadian arctic.

Still running in the mid 90s here in Oklahoma, (~34-35 I think) even though it's been raining a bit over the last couple of days.

Predictions for a few hundreds this week. Ouch. If we do get a few 90's our roads will disintigrate quite rapidly.

Hot Hot and Hot. We had a record breaking July, almost everyday hit 100, or higher.(37.7 C), The news reporter took a temp reading from the road, and said the concrete was 115! (46.1C)

I am ready for some cooler weather...

Hot and cold don't exist. I have no problem from 0° up to 40°.
